Speedy Hire Plc is a United Kingdom-based provider of tools and equipment hire services to a range of customers in the construction, infrastructure, industrial, and support services markets, as well as to local trade and retail. The Company's segments include Hire and Services. The Hire segment relates to hire of its core fleet of owned products, covering a range of product lines in categories such as small tools, access, power and battery storage, lifting, survey, powered access, welding and plant machinery. The Services segment predominantly relates to the re-hire of an extensive range of specialist equipment through partnerships with suppliers, referred to as Customer Solutions. This segment also includes fuel and energy sales and management, training, product sales, and test, inspection and certification services. The Company operates from 135 Service Centers and on-site locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland and through a joint venture in Kazakhstan.
