Sound Energy PLC is a United Kingdom-based transition energy company with operations in Morocco centered around onshore exploration, development and production of gas. The Company’s assets consist of an exploration portfolio across two locations, and a phased development project in the Tendrara Production Concession area in Morocco. The Company has a 20% interest in Tendrara Production Concession and is located close to the Gazoduc Maghreb Europe (GME) pipeline, approximately 120 kilometers to the north of it. The 522 kilometers long Moroccan section is owned by the Moroccan State and operated by Metragaz. The pipeline connects Morocco to the Spanish/Portuguese gas grids. Tendrara Production Concession covers approximately 133.5 square kilometers (km2). It also has a 27.5 % interest in Grand Tendrara - two Triassic TAGI discoveries, which cover approximately 14,411 km2. Its Sidi Moktar permit is located on the Atlantic seaboard of Morocco, approximately 100 km to the west of Marrakech.
