About the company

The Investment Company plc is a United Kingdom-based alternative investment fund. The Company’s investment objective is to maximize capital growth for shareholders over the long-term by investing in high-quality, quoted, United Kingdom small and mid-cap companies. The Company principally invests approximately 75 % of its funds in shares of companies which are listed on the Main Market or AQSE or traded on AIM, with a market capitalization of less than £250 million. The Company also invests approximately 25 % of its funds in some United Kingdom listed companies with larger market capitalization, for liquidity purposes. It invests in various sectors, including technology, financials, industrials, consumer, media, construction, support services, healthcare and resources. Chelverton Asset Management Limited is the investment manager of the Company.
