Close Brothers Group plc is a United Kingdom-based specialist banking company providing lending, deposit taking. The Company’s segments include Commercial, Retail, and Property. The Commercial segment lends to small and medium-sized enterprises through its in-house teams, where loans are originated via its direct sales force or introduced by third-party distribution channels. This segment includes invoice finance, energy, and intermediated asset finance. The Retail segment provides finance to individuals and businesses through a network of intermediaries. The Property segment provides residential development finance and loans to property developers and investors across mainland the United Kingdom (UK) and Northern Ireland, through its two brands, Close Brothers Property Finance and Commercial Acceptances. It also provides financial services and advice to small businesses and individuals.
