About the company

East Star Resources Plc is a United Kingdom-based company focused on the discovery and development of copper as well as other base and precious metals in Kazakhstan. Its three-pronged copper exploration strategy of VMS, porphyry and sediment hosted copper leans into distinct qualities of the team and regions within which it operates. It holds a total of eight licenses across three mineral districts, specifically the Chu-Ili belt, East Kostanay region and Rudny Altai belt. The polymetallic deposit known as the Verkhuba Copper Deposit is within the greater Verkhuba Ore District on East Star’s licenses, which includes other high-priority HEM anomalies. The Company has announced a joint venture agreement with Getech Group Plc to explore for sediment-hosted copper deposits in Kazakhstan. It is focused on porphyry copper and epithermal gold exploration on the Balkash-Ili Magmatic Arc.
