SSEN Transmission owns, operates and develops the high voltage electricity transmission system in the north of Scotland. SSEN Distribution, operating under licence as Southern Electric Power Distribution plc (SEPD) and Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution plc (SHEPD), serves various homes and businesses across central southern England and the north of Scotland.
