The Company primarily serves four global markets: energy, general industry, safety and security, and aerospace. The Company's segments include John Crane, Flex-Tek, Smiths Detection and Smiths Interconnect. John Crane segment designs and manufactures mechanical seals, seal support systems, power transmission couplings and specialized filtration systems. Flex-Tek segment designs and manufactures engineered components, flexible hosing and rigid tubing that heat and move fluids and gases. Smiths Detection segment designs and manufactures sensors and systems that detect and identify explosives, narcotics, weapons, chemical agents, biohazards and contraband. Smiths Interconnect segment designs and manufactures specialized electronic and radio frequency board-level and waveguide devices, connectors, cables, test sockets and sub-systems.
